ALBANY, OREGON - Linn-Benton Freshman Brooklyn Willard collected 11 kills, marking her tenth double digit kill game this season and led the team to a home victory on Saturday, October 14.
The Roadrunners defeated Chemeketa Community College in 3 sets 25-13, 25-19, 25-18.
LBCC is now 10-0 in conference play and 25-0 on the season. Chemeketa moved to 0-10 in conference and 6-17 overall.
Chemeketa took the lead 4 times but the Beaks proved to be too much to handle, never trailing by more than 1 point throughout the game and holding Chemeketa under 20 points in each set.
Next up, the Roadrunners will take on Mt. Hood Community College at home in the LBCC activities center on Wednesday, October 18. Match start time is set for 6pm.
