ALBANY, Ore. — Linn-Benton managed just 22% field goal shooting, including just 2-for-18 from behind the three point line, in the season finale en route to an 80-39 loss to Clackamas in NWAC South Region women's basketball action Saturday afternoon.
The Roadrunners (16-10, 8-8) got 11 points each from Katelynn Weaver and Hannah Berschauer, the only two players in double digits. Linn-Benton suffered from scoring droughts in both the second (nine points) and third quarters (4 points). The Cougars held a 41-21 lead at halftime.
Clackamas (21-6, 11-5) earned the #3 seed from the South Region into the NWAC Championship Tournament next week in Pasco, Wash.
