Titans Escape Upset Against Roadrunners

EUGENE, OR – The Roadrunners defense shined once again, limiting the No. 1 ranked Lane Titans offense, but the Roadrunners fell just short of the upset, and the Titans prevailed 63-55.

The Roadrunner fell into an early double-digit deficit in the first quarter, but rallied to end the first quarter down 26-20.

In the second quarter the Roadrunners shut down the Lane offense, allowing only 2 points and taking a 34-28 lead going into halftime.

The second half featured both teams going back and forth, but an early fourth quarter run put the Titans ahead for good.

Next up the Roadrunners will stay home for their final league game of the year against Southwestern Oregon Community College Wednesday, Mar 1. Tip-off is set for 5:30 P.M.
