ALBANY, OR – The Linn-Benton Women's Basketball team entered the Top 5 for the week of Jan. 22. The Roadrunners moved up two spots improving to No. 4 in the fourth edition of the Northwest Athletic Conference(NWAC) Coaches Poll. This is the highest ranking since the Roadrunners joined the NWAC.
The Roadrunners join Lane Community College (1), Clackamas Community College (3), and Umpqua Community College(7) as NWAC Southern Region top ten teams.
The Roadrunners currently sit at 14-2 on the season, and 4-1 in the NWAC South Region. They will host the No. 1 ranked Lane Titans on Wednesday, Jan. 25. Tip-off is set for 5:30 at the Activities Center on the Linn-Benton Albany Campus.
