GRESHAM, Oregon – The Linn-Benton Women's Basketball team lost to Mt. Hood Community College 52-50 on Monday, Feb. 21.
The Roadrunners fell to 14-7 on the season, and 6-5 in the NWAC South Region. The Mt. Hood Saints improved to 4-15 on the season, and 2-9 in the NWAC South Region.
The Roadrunners got it going early from the perimeter early, hitting 3, three-point field goals in the first quarter, and leading 18-16 at the end of the first.
The Roadrunners would go on to only hit one more three-point shot the rest of the game, going a combined 1-12 from the three-point line after the first quarter.
Sabrina Albee led the Roadrunners in scoring with 15 points, 1 point shy of her season-high.
Next up the Roadrunners stay home to take on Clackamas Community College on Wednesday, Feb. 23. Tip-off is set for 5:30 on the Linn-Benton Albany Campus, 6500 Pacific Blvd. SW.
