Roadrunner Men Pull Away From Saints Late

ALBANY, OR – The Linn-Benton Men's Basketball team defeated Mt. Hood Community College 79-70 on Wednesday, Jan 4. 

The Roadrunners improved to 6-8 on the year, and 1-0 in the NWAC South Region. The Saints fell to 1-10 on the year, and 0-1 in the NWAC South Region. 

Roadrunners TJ Zimmerman tallied 33 points and 16 rebounds to lead the offensive attack. Zimmerman is now averaging 21.2 PPG on 49.6% shooting from the field for the season. Zimmerman is currently second in made fields in the Northwest Athletic Conference(NWAC). 

Roadrunners' Ayden Foster joined Zimmerman with a double-double of his own. Foster dropped 20 points and grabbed 12 rebounds. 

Up next the Roadrunners stay home to take on Clark College on Saturday, Jan 4. Tip-off is set for 4:00 P.M.
