Linn-Benton Men Drop Game to Mt. Hood

GRESHAM, Oregon  –  The Linn-Benton Men's Basketball team lost 96-84 to Mt. Hood Community College on Monday, Feb.21. 

The Roadrunners fell to 3-15 on the season, and 1-10 in the NWAC South Region. The Mt. Hood Saints improved to 13-9 on the season, and 9-2 in the NWAC South region. 

The Roadrunners kept the game close in the first half going into halftime down 47-44. The Roadrunners shot a combined 18 free throws in the first half going 14-18 from the charity stripe. 

In the second half the Roadrunners continued their success from the free-throw line going 15-15, and finishing the game 29-33 from the line. 

The Roadrunners struggled once again taking care of the basketball against the Saints, giving up 20 points on 16 turnovers. 

Ayden Foster led the Roadrunners in scoring with 23 points. 13 of those points came from the free-throw line. 

Next up the Roadrunners stay home to take on Clackamas Community College on Wednesday, Feb. 23. Tip-off is set for 7:30 on the Linn-Benton Albany Campus, 6500 Pacific Blvd. SW.
