ALBANY, Oregon – The Linn-Benton Men's Basketball team lost to Umpqua Community College 83-68 on Wednesday, February 9.
The Roadrunners fell to 2-13 on the year, and 0-8 in the NWAC South Region. Umpqua Community College improved to 14-3 on the year, and 5-2 in the NWAC South Region.
The Roadrunners kept the game close in the first half, going into halftime down 45-37.
In the second half the Riverhawks were able to take command of the game. 23 points from Riverhawk Nathan Webb and 21 points from Talon Valdes led the way for Umpqua.
Kye Blaser led the way for the Roadrunners scoring 13 points. Ayden Foster recorded another double-double for the Roadrunners with 12 points and 10 rebounds. That would make for his sixth double-double on the year.
Next up the Roadrunners travel to take on Southwestern Oregon Community College on Saturday, February 16. Tip-off is set for 7:30 at 1988 Newmark Ave, Coos Bay, OR 97420.
