Roadrunners Split with Mt. Hood

SANDY, OR – Roadrunners Brady Baltus threw 7 scoreless innings, teammate Cole Cramer picked up 3 RBI's, and the Roadrunners split their doubleheader against Mt. Hood Community College on Saturday, April 8. 

In game one, The Roadrunner shut out the Saints 5-0. Baltus pitched a gem, going 7 scoreless innings surrendering only 4 hits and 3 walks. The Roadrunners provided plenty of offense for Baltus. Cole Cramer got the party started in the fifth with a 2 RBI double, Aidan Dougherty kept the party going with a single out to right knocking in another pair of runs. Cramer finished the game 3 for 5 from the plate, with 2 doubles, 3 RBI, and a run scored. 

In game two, the Saints defeated the Roadrunners 5-1. Dougherty picked up the lone RBI for the Roadrunners with a single in the sixth inning. Roadrunners Kaden Miller went 4 innings allowing 2 earned runs on 5 hits, and 1 walk, while striking out 2. 

Next up the Roadrunners will stay home to take on Chemeketa Community College on Thursday, April 13. First pitch is set for 1:00 p.m. at Dick McClain field on the Linn-Benton Albany Campus.
