Roadrunners Secure South Top Seed in Elite 8

ALBANY, Ore. — Maddy Hellem had nine kills and a match-high 19 digs to lead Linn-Benton past Edmonds in the NWAC Volleyball Championship South Regional Sunday morning. Set scores were 25-19, 25-14 and 25-12.

The Roadrunners (32-0 overall) now advance to the Elite 8 as the number one seed from the South Regional and will play at 11:00 am Friday versus Bellevue.

Amy Pappas added eight kills and four block assists for Linn-Benton, while Meah Carley had 19 assists and 10 digs. Kinsey Brelage contributed 14 digs and three service aces.

In Match Two, Edmonds defeated Wenatchee 3-0 to advance as the South number two seed to the Elite 8.
