ALBANY, Ore. — Linn-Benton defeated Lane 3-0 in the NWAC South Regional volleyball regular season finale for both teams Friday night. Set scores were 25-17, 25-22 and 25-15.\
For the Roadrunners (30-0, 16-0 NWAC South) it's the second consecutive undefeated South Region season, and the program's fourth consecutive South Regional title.
Rowan Reilly led the Roadrunners with 11 kills while hitting .476 for the match. Avery Hughes led the offensive attack with 21 assists. Kinsey Brelage led the defense with 17 digs while Maddy Hellem added 14 digs.
Linn-Benton will host the NWAC Volleyball Championships South Regional November 16 and 17. The Roadrunners will open with Wenatchee Valley, the #4 seed from the East Region.
