Beaks Roll; Willard Chosen Player of the Week

ALBANY, Ore. — Brooklyn Willard led Linn-Benton to wins at Clackamas and at home versus Chemeketa last week and was named the NWAC Baden and AVCA Two-Year Player of the Week for her efforts.

The Roadrunners, ranked #1 in each of this season's NWAC Coaches' Polls, are currently 24-0 overall and 10-0 in the NWAC South Region. They travel to Mt. Hood tonight and host Umpqua Friday.

Willard helped the Roadrunners keep on rolling, as she led them to two victories over the weekend, which extended Linn-Benton's winning streak to 79 matches. The six-rotation player hit .424 and averaged 5.91 points per set and 4.66 digs per set this week. At Clackamas, she had 20 kills and 19 digs and hit .515 in the sweep.
