ALBANY, Ore. — Three hitters recorded nine kills apiece in a balanced offensive attack as Linn-Benton topped Mt. Hood 3-0 in NWAC South Region volleyball action Wednesday night.
Grace Luttrell, Amy Pappas and Brooklyn Willard led the Roadrunners (17-0, 3-0 NWAC South), while Maddy Hellem and Rowan Reilly each added six kills. Linn-Benton hit .371 on the night, led by Luttrell, who hit .667.
Meah Carley posted 22 assists on the night and Avery Hughes added 18. Carley surpassed 1,000 career assists with her effort tonight. Through tonight's match she has 1,012 career assists.
Kinsey Brelage led the Roadrunners' defense with 13 digs and also recorded two service aces.
Linn-Benton next travels to Umpqua Friday for a 6:00 pm match.
