Manibusan MVP, Other Beaks Honored by NWAC

VANCOUVER, Wash. - The Northwest Athletic Conference has revealed its selections for the 2022 Volleyball All-Stars, including all-region selections, region Coaches of the Year and Most Valuable Players of the Year. The list also includes a sophomore all-star team for each region. The selections are voted upon by NWAC head volleyball coaches in each region.  

Linn-Benton's Taya Manibusan was named Most Valuable Player for the South Region. She was joined on the 1st Team by Shalyn Gray and Shelbey Nichol. Graci Zanona was named to the 2nd Team. Roadrunners' coach Jayme Frazier was selected Coach of the Year.

The Roadrunners (31-1) open the NWAC Volleyball Championships Elite 8 at Pierce College Friday at 2:00 p.m. against #2 seed from the West Regional Highline. All matches are available on the NWAC Sports Network. Ticket information is at nwacsports.org/tickets.
