ALBANY, Ore. — Ally Tow and Taylor Tedrow each tallied nine kills and Mitra Aflatooni added eight kills to lead Linn-Benton Community College past visiting Umpqua 3-0 in NWAC Southern Region volleyball action Wednesday night.
The win improved the Roadrunners' record to 9-2 in the NWAC South and 23-9 overall. Umpqua dropoped to 3-7 and 17-14 overall.
LBCC won by set scores of 25-17, 25-10 and 25-20.
LBCC hit .308 as a team, led by Tedrow, who hit .500 on the night. The Roadrunners defense held Umpqua hitting to .036.
LBCC next hosts Southwestern Oregon on Friday at6:30 p.m.
