
Nine Roadrunners Earn all-NWAC Southern Region Honors
ALBANY, Ore. — Nine Linn-Benton Community College baseball players were named to the all-NWAC Southern Region team, as voted by the Conference coaches. Roadrunners head caoch Andy Peterson was named Coach of the Year for the Southern Region as well.
Linn-Benton captured the NWAC Southern Region championship with a record of 20-4 (30-9 overall). It was the third consecutive Region title for the Roadrunners, who receive an automatic berth into the NWAC Championship Tournament May 23-27 in Longview, Washington. Linn-Benton will play at 12:30 p.m. on May 23 against the winner of the West Super Regional being played this weekend.
