ALBANY, Ore. — Tacoma's Sam Olsson blasted a two-run home run in the fourth inning and then added a solo shot in the 7th to help lift the Titans past Linn-Benton 12-8 in the second game of the double-header Sunday afternoon in non-Conference NWAC baseball action.
The win lifted Tacoma's record to 14-2 on the season. The Roadrunners dopped to 8-5.
For the Roadrunners, Jacob Melton went 2-for-3 including a solo home run in the third inning that tied the score a 4-4.
Linn-Benton next hosts Linfield College's JV team in a double-header scheduled for next Saturday beginning at 1:00 p.m.
