SALEM, Ore. — Chemeketa collected six hits and capitalized on two Linn-Benton errors to post a 6-1 win over the Roadrunners Tuesday night in Salem.
The Storm, which improved to 6-0 on the season, jumped out to a 3-0 lead before Henry Wiebke singled home Logan Hanson in the fourth inning to post the Roadrunners' only run. Linn-Benton fell to 7-2 on the season.
Nolan Jackson (0-1) took the loss for the Roadrunners, giving up four hits and three runs in three innings of work.
Linn-Benton next hosts Tacoma CC in a weekedn four-game series. Start times are 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.
