ALBANY, Oregon – The Linn-Benton Men's Basketball team lost to Lane Community College, 74-69, on Wednesday, February 2.
The Roadrunners dropped to 2-11 overall, and 0-6 in the NWAC South Region. Lane Community College improved to 13-2 overall, and 4-1 in the NWAC South Region.
The Roadrunners started off hot from the three point line shooting 7-9 from the 3-point line in the first half. Linn-Benton went into halftime up 40-32 and held the Titans to a 22% shooting percentage from the 3-point line.
The Titans were able to squeak by the Roadrunners in the second half by holding the Roadrunners to 25% shooting from the field.
Roadrunners Kye Blaser led all scorers with 22 points, and Ayden Foster recorded another double-double, with 11 points and 10 rebounds.
Next up the Roadrunners travel to take on Chemeketa Community College on Saturday, February 5.
