ALBANY, Ore. - Linn-Benton won both games of a doubleheader over Chemeketa in a non-Conference matchup Saturday afternoon at Dick McClain Field.
The Roadrunners (2-0. 0-0) blanked the Storm 8-0 in the opening game and won the nightcap 5-3.
Rhett Larson (1-0) notched the win in the first game while Chase Reynolds (1-0) earned the win in game two.
Linn-Benton racked up 10 hits in the first game, including a solo home run by JJ Hoover. Trey Nelson and Ruben Cedillo each tripled and Michael Soper added a double. Titus Dumitru was 3-for-4 at the plate.
Emiliano Alarcon led the Roadrunners in game two with two doubles and Soper had two RBI's.
The series continues Sunday at Linn-Benton at 11:00 a.m.
