EUGENE, Ore. — Linn-Benton Community College swept its series with Lane Community College in NWAC Southern Region baseball action Sunday, beating the Titans 2-0 and 3-2 in Eugene.
The wins keep the Roadrunners undefeated in NWAC Southern Region play at 8-0, and 18-5 overall. Lane dropped to 6-4 and 12-12 overall.
Eric Hill pitched 7 1/3 innings in game one and Caden Hennessy went the distance in game two to earn the victories for the Roadrunners.
Linn-Benton is in action at home Monday, April 15, with a make up doubleheader against Clark with the first game scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m.
