ALBANY, Ore. — Linn-Benton Community College completed the sweep of visiting Linfield with a 13-1 victory in the nightcap of Saturday's twin bill.
The Roadrunners offense blasted 18 hits, led by Jacob Melton and Henry Wiebke who posted three apiece.
LBCC peppered Linfield pitching with four doubles, one each by Melton , Wiebke, Jordan Mambaje and Maxwell Long.
The win improved the Roadrunners' record to 10-5 on the season. This was the final non-Conference game for the Roadrunners, who open NWAC Southern Region play next Friday at Southwestern Oregon in Coos Bay.
LBCC hosts SWOCC the next day. Game times are set for 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
